We fancy ourselves humble fruit-slingers, constantly in search of the good stuff.
We started fruitqueen to celebrate the flavor of our favorite California fruit, to support the farmers who do the hard work of growing it, and to tell the stories of both!
Each week we source the season’s tastiest fruit directly from farms and curate a box for the fruit fan club. We write fruit notes to tell the stories behind the fruit. We pick our favorite varieties – like Masumoto Suncrest peaches and Wong Farms Valencia Pride mangoes – and offer them in larger formats to celebrate the season. And we deliver to fruit-lovers throughout the Bay Area!

fruitqueen was started by friends and fruit-lovers Joyce, Brian, and Ben in the spring of 2023. We each brought a decade-plus experience at some of the Bay Area’s most flavor-forward farmer’s markets, grocers, and restaurants. More than a year on, Joyce is Chief Fruit Officer and Brian runs Ops, while Ben has moved on to focus on Sungold, helping values-driven food projects thrive.
