Owari Satsuma Mandarin Box

These Owari Satsuma mandarins are grown in the foothills of Newcastle. Nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills, some of most delicious mandarins come out of this growing area. Warm days and cool nights during the growing season result in super flavorful fruit. Nathaniel Brown and his uncle are tending to this orchard of mandarins that were planted nearly 37 years ago. 

Their farming practices are sustainable though they are not certified organic. Fertilizers include kelp and fish emulsion, with no synthetic inputs or additives used, this citrus orchard has historically been farmed organically.
