Trio of Ichigo Farms Albion Strawberries

John Louie of Ichigo Farms started growing strawberries a few years ago upon his Bachan's (grandma in Japanese) request. In Japan, strawberry season runs from Dec-May. When we were in Japan this July, we realized it was wayyyy too hot to grow strawberries outdoors in the summer heat and we learned that most strawberries are grown in greenhouses, hydroponically. 

Ichigo Farms is growing Japanese-style winter strawberries in greenhouses! They're focused on Albions in addition to trialing some experimental varieties that will come on later in the season.
