Trio of Organic Surinam Cherries

Farmer Jay knows how to pick his Surinam cherries ripe! Surinam cherries have an acquired taste, they are intensely sweet-tart with citrusy and peppery notes. They have a little stone in the center (like sweet cherries) and a juicy flesh surrounding it.

These plants are commonly found growing along the Atlantic coast and coastal rainforests of Brazil, but Jay has a few plants on the slopes of the Santa Barbara coast.
