Half Flat of Albion Strawberries

John Louie of Ichigo Farms started growing strawberries a few years ago upon request from his Bachan – grandma in Japanese. In Japan, strawberry season runs from December to May. Most strawberries are grown in greenhouses, hydroponically. 

So now here in California, Ichigo Farms is growing winter strawberries Japanese-style, in greenhouses! They're focused on Albions in addition to trialing some experimental Japanese varieties, unseen or uncommonly grown in the US.
